A vision first presented by Imamia Medics International (IMI) in the late 1980s is now moving closer to becoming a reality. The University Medical Complex (UMC) represents IMI’s long-standing commitment to creating a world-class healthcare, education, and research institution dedicated to serving humanity.
The University Medical Complex (UMC) is envisioned as a full-service multispecialty hospital, advanced research center, and academic institution of excellence. Through global collaborations and IMI’s international network, UMC aims to provide quality healthcare, promote innovation, and develop future healthcare leaders.
Over the past ten years, IMI core members have visited many countries to establish an international institute for emerging global medical professional needs. After critical review, the collective decision was to initiate this project from Pakistan. The idea is to develop a regional hub of excellence for the entire Asian region with branches and affiliations across Asia and the Middle East.
After years of planning, research, and visits by IMI leadership across different countries, Pakistan was selected as the foundation for this international initiative. Over the years, IMI Pakistan has developed one of the organization’s strongest and fastest-growing networks, connecting healthcare professionals, academic institutions, volunteers, and community partners.The project currently includes two major campuses located in Pakistan’s key metropolitan cities:
