Conferences

IMI has held many national and 11 international conferences worldwide with participation from over 26 countries to date. IMI has organized 10 Category 1 CME Conferences approved by the American Association of Continuing Medical Education (US) and one accredited by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.

Symposia and one-day conference are regularly organized by national and local chapters for a range of health professionals such as Innovations in Healthcare in April 2013 that brought together physicians, researchers, diabetes educators, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians and many disciplines to cater to IMI US’s diverse needs.

IMI hosts conferences internationally to share advances in health such as the Bringing Global Health Home: IMI Iraq Women & Newborn Conference in April 2014. IMI also sends delegations and host sessions at many conferences including Addressing Diabetes to Achieve the MDGs at the United Nations Annual Conference on Global Health in Australia.
