The theme of the conference is MEHDI – Medicine, Equity in Health, Diversity and Inclusion. This conference is being carefully crafted to combine our commitment to enhancing health, education, capacity building and the integration of global community-based approaches to health, with special emphasis on building back after COVID-19 and working towards a fair, just and equitable world for all. Imamia Medics International is holding a North American Conference in Atlanta, Georgia from October 29-31, 2021. The conference will be held at the attractive Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort, steps away from the magnificent Stone Mountain.

The three-day conference includes many special events, including a special Gala Dinner on Saturday night featuring poetry and prose in a Mushaira event. Parallel sessions for the Women’s Wing, Youth Wing, Pharmaceutical, Nursing and Dental Wings, as well as a special NGO Roundtable are just some of the highlights of this special weekend. It was an excellent conference well planned, presented, and well attended. If individually traveling we may have never enjoyed the kind of reception the participants received throughout their stay in Iran.

IMI has been my outlet for philanthropic work since before I entered into high school. It is through IMI that I see my efforts, here in New Jersey, manifest into something much greater around the world.
