Mission Background

Since 2010, IMI has had the honor of coordinating medical missions during Arbaeen in Iraq.

Inshallah, for the 18th Annual Arbaeen Medical Mission, IMI international delegates will again work alongside our local Iraqi delegates as one global team dedicated to serve the zawaar of Imam Hussain (AS).

The mission plans include a medical camp that provides general medical care, emergency support, specialty clinics, free medicines, medical supplies, and medical equipment.

The mission will also continue education and training activities, including in-person training and certification through the International Arbaeen Conference. Training will include BLS, ACLS, PALS, emergency response, disaster management, and other topics. Course details will be shared later.

IMI also plans to continue mentorship for students, public health information for pilgrims, and support for safe and organized service during Arbaeen.
