Through our Sixth Annual Arbaeen Conference, held as an intensive five-day program in Najaf and Karbala, an in-depth learning experience was provided to 100+ healthcare students, medical professionals, and Ataba (Shrine) staff. Participants were trained in critical life-saving skills, including CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and mass casualty management with a focus on controlling major hemorrhages. Consistent with our commitment to quality over quantity, we emphasized high-standard, hands-on training using state-of-the-art equipment to develop highly skilled and certified responders. The first day of the conference also celebrated the start of the new IMI-sponsored Zenith Academy in Najaf (see more below).
Each session was designed to span an entire day, ensuring a deep, hands-on learning experience delivered to the highest standards with state-of-the-art equipment. Participants received certifications upon completion, reinforcing our dedication to producing highly skilled responders rather than just increasing numbers.
Alḥamdulillāh, our years of dedicated work in Iraq are creating lasting impacts. At the 6th Annual Arbaeen Conference organized by Imamia Medics International (IMI), Dr. Mohammad Hassan Hilo, Dr. Moein Yasin, and Dr. Fatima Dhayaa, under the mentorship of Dr. Mehdi Rizvi, served as certified IMI instructors. They led crucial training sessions on commanding mass casualty incidents, managing major hemorrhages, and advanced adult and pediatric life support skills. The conference also celebrated the inauguration of the IMI-sponsored Zenith Academy in Najaf, a fitting tribute to the "City of Light" and the resting place of the "Door to the City of Knowledge," where the legacy of learning and enlightenment continues to shine bright.
It was an excellent conference well planned, presented, and well attended. If individually traveling we may have never enjoyed the kind of reception the participants received throughout their stay in Iran.
I want to thank you all for giving me such a great opportunity to be a part of your team (in Haiti). It was a unique experience and I really enjoyed working with you all.
Thank you very much for the wonderful work you do. I have seen it first hand in Karbala during the Arbaeen camps and my son was fortunate to participate in two of the missions. I have made a donation today.
If InshAllah, I secure a residency in the upcoming match, I will owe the organizers and the speakers at the seminar more than they will take credit for.
IMI has been my outlet for philanthropic work since before I entered into high school. It is through IMI that I see my efforts, here in New Jersey, manifest into something much greater around the world. IMI has helped me realize that ambition alone is not enough to change the world; in order to achieve the changes we wish to see in this world we require ambition, vision, and most importantly execution. That is why I have joined IMI, so that my ambition and vision can meet their execution.
