In an effort to promote prevention of the spread of COVID-19, IMI Canada volunteers and staff came together to source, package and distribute over 4000 masks to communities all over Canada, in Southern Ontario and Saskatchewan. Over the last month, IMI Canada has distributed over 4300 masks country-wide. After an initial call out, donations poured in through IMI Canada's website, in kind donations, and thousands of hand-sewn and single use masks ready to be packaged and delivered to the doors of thousands of families.
Partnering with local charities and organizations, IMI Canada supplied hand-sewn masks, gloves, and information cards to families in need.
Alongside their efforts on the ground, IMI Canada established a 24/7 Hotline, providing access to health care providers for all patients. Patients have access to health professionals from every speciality.
