IMI’s Global Headquarters & Intentional Community

After three decades of serving humanity, IMI is establishing its first physical Global Headquarters and intentional community, the first-of-its kind in North America.

Your feedback during the planning stages for this project identified a critical need: a residential collective that incorporates health needs as well as a high level of social interconnectedness throughout, including initiatives like Assisted Care and Skilled Nursing facilities. This project has been carefully planned with an eye to fulfilling these unmet needs as well as long-term financial security for IMI.

The complex will bring together facilities for IMI’s Global Headquarters with features for students and academics like a state of the art library and conference center. Separate structures will be built to lease as retail and offices spaces as well as an Inpatient Rehab Facility, Skilled Nursing Facility, and an Assisted Living Facility fulfilling a critical need at this time. Additional projections include a Senior Independent Living High-rise and a Multipurpose event space.

JAN 2017: North American Fundraising Campaign launched
MAR 2017: $400,000 received through Mushaira For a Cause events
APR 2017: $1 million committed to IMI Endowment for future use
APR 2017: $100,000 deposit paid with the executed Agreement of Sale on 27 Rajab, 1438)
APR 2017: Due diligence underway
APR 2017: Title Search Completed
DEC 2017: Closing with full payment of $2 million made with private lender support.
