IMI’s Academic Council oversees the development of academic programming for IMI International Conferences and serves as a global academic resource for national and regional conferences. IMI’s 12th International Conference will be held in the historic city of Karbala, Iraq, from December 25–27, 2025, with pre-conference workshops on December 24, 2025. Supported by our IMI Iraq Chapter and local partners, the conference will bring together scholars, healthcare professionals, and global delegates for an engaging academic program.
Karbala, home to the holy shrines of Imam Hussain (ع) and Hazrat Abbas (ع), offers participants a deeply spiritual and cultural setting to reflect, connect, and grow. Delegates will also have the opportunity to visit nearby cities of great historical, cultural, and spiritual significance.
