11th International Conference of IMI recently concluded in Auckland, New Zealand. The Conference was dedicated to Lady Zainab (sa), the most outstanding insignia of courage and steadfastness. The conference attracted hundreds of delegates from around the world. A whole host of advance scientific and medical papers were presented in this CME Accredited conference. Variety of disciplines of medicine and surgery and the sub specialities were entertained. In the presence of sumptuous meals and networking breaks, the families were also engaged with Women Wing sessions and Youth Wing activities, focused on the current crisis and the new advances in sciences as per conference theme.
The Zainab Gala Dinner
The ZAINAB Gala Dinner, conducted on Nov 18, 2023, was exclusively transferred into GAZA Dinner in the light of current humanitarian crisis. The Keynote Speakers of the evening were Sr. Lucy Mohammadi, a Maori who converted to Shia Islam and 5th generation of the first Maori King, Pōtatau Te Wherowhero; Syed Taqui Derhamy, a respected elder and pioneer of New Zealand Shia Muslim Community.
Women Wings Sessions
The IMI Women's Wing sessions was open for all women regardless of backgrounds. Our women's wing activities had traditionally appealed to women from a range of backgrounds--from health professionals, to entrepreneurs to homemakers. This special one-day activity at the ZAINAB Global Health Conference was no exception.
IMI Young Leaders
As in previous years, IMI's 11th International Conference incorporated a full parallel Young Leaders' Conference. Young Leaders’ sessions were designed to develop the leadership capacity of students and younger professionals.

It was an excellent conference well planned, presented, and well attended. If individually traveling we may have never enjoyed the kind of reception the participants received throughout their stay in Iran.
I want to thank you all for giving me such a great opportunity to be a part of your team (in Haiti). It was a unique experience and I really enjoyed working with you all.
Thank you very much for the wonderful work you do. I have seen it first hand in Karbala during the Arbaeen camps and my son was fortunate to participate in two of the missions. I have made a donation today.
If InshAllah, I secure a residency in the upcoming match, I will owe the organizers and the speakers at the seminar more than they will take credit for.
IMI has been my outlet for philanthropic work since before I entered into high school. It is through IMI that I see my efforts, here in New Jersey, manifest into something much greater around the world. IMI has helped me realize that ambition alone is not enough to change the world; in order to achieve the changes we wish to see in this world we require ambition, vision, and most importantly execution. That is why I have joined IMI, so that my ambition and vision can meet their execution.
