Mentorship
Mentorship is critical in helping to nurture and grow future leaders and is recognized as one of the most important tools for professional development. Mentorship has been linked to greater productivity, career advancement, and professional satisfaction.
IMI’s Mentorship program focuses on establishing mentoring relationships between students/trainees/early career physicians and IMI health professionals established in a variety of locations and fields.
Mentors will have opportunities to further develop leadership skills and learn about emerging trends from the next generation of their peers. Mentees will gain a trusted advisor and learn methods to enhance career advancement. Both parties will form professional relationships and share advocacy, professional, and research interests.
Interested participants can complete the form below with their request to participate as a mentor or mentee. Once IMI membership is verified, the member will receive an email invitation that provides instructions. Please note that, given the nature of the process, we cannot guarantee all applicants will be matched immediately during our initial launch.
