Physicians, friends, and volunteers of IMI proudly celebrated the Grand Inauguration Ceremony of the Sughra Get Well Clinic on October 18, 2025, in Hamilton, New Jersey.
The multi-specialty charity clinic was officially inaugurated by Hamilton Township Mayor Mr. Jeff Martin. The event’s significance was further highlighted by the presence of distinguished state officials, including:
" Nashon Hornsby, State of NJ Health Commissioner for Public Health Lahari Peruri, Personal Representative and Director of Constituents for State of NJ Deputy Assemblywoman Ms. Verlina Reynolds-Jackson."
Nearly 630,000 people in NJ lack health insurance. Under Dr. W. H. Rizvi's leadership, 25 doctors from various specialties have volunteered to provide free weekend care to the uninsured, regardless of background. This new clinic marks a major step forward in IMI’s mission to provide vital, non-discriminatory healthcare, screenings, and counseling to underserved communities.

It was an excellent conference well planned, presented, and well attended. If individually traveling we may have never enjoyed the kind of reception the participants received throughout their stay in Iran.

IMI has been my outlet for philanthropic work since before I entered into high school. It is through IMI that I see my efforts, here in New Jersey, manifest into something much greater around the world. IMI has helped me realize that ambition alone is not enough to change the world; in order to achieve the changes we wish to see in this world we require ambition, vision, and most importantly execution. That is why I have joined IMI, so that my ambition and vision can meet their execution.
