Karbala Camp only: October 22, 2018 - November 4, 2018
Karbala & Najaf Camps: October 22, 2018 - November 10, 2018
This delegation's primary purpose is to provide medical services during Arbaeen. The situation in Iraq is constantly shifting and volatile. You must be flexible with regards to planning and logistics including accommodations, transportation, electricity and other local needs/arrangements. Things constantly change on the ground and our baseline requirement is for all delegates to be patient, flexible and work together despite very intense and challenging conditions. Also please note, while our priority is to serve the health needs of the people in Iraq, should the situation in Iraq deteriorate, plans for Abraeen will be modified based on local risk assessments and security concerns.
I cannot express the profound impact IMI has had on my life: from the incredible opportunity to serve on the Arbaeen Medical Mission to the insightful career guidance and special programs for Young Leaders that I’ve benefitted from!
Looking back on this life-changing experience, I know that without the months of work for this program at IMI HQ, the Annual Arbaeen Medical Mission would not be possible.
So support HQ. There’s a visionary new project for IMI’s physical Global Headquarters and Intentional Community, the first-of-its kind in North America. The project will care for our aging communities through facilities like Assisted Living AND brings IMI long-term financial security. It’s a future our community deserves.
This Ramadan, as you explore ways to give back, look into the Arbaeen Medical Mission, and please donate to IMI HQ now because it’s on every one of us to make sure this vision is tomorrow’s reality.
"Praying God for keeping you safe and bless these valuable efforts that came from far, which purpose was to develop the science that God has blessed you with, as each of you has expertise in a specific field, and we are proud of this good relationship that we hope will be the foundation of future service projects."
